I was seeing Julie Wardell for six years then, without my knowledge, she put me under a different nurse because she started issuing me an opiate drug for my severe pain so she didn't have to bear any responsibility I guess then she just stopped seeing me saying that she would not see me anymore. She completely cut me off and I was taking Xanax for six years so I had to cut cold turkey no help no wean me off plan just out cold, one of the most horrible experiences of my life. It was so terrifying. I would never recommend any of the Cgh facility to anybody. I feel like these are real evil people that only care about themselves they're very greedy. All they care about is money if you want help go to a different state cause you're not gonna find a here in Illinois and you're not gonna find it here in Sterling or Dixon.
Went for standard eye exam. DR Hanlon. Glasses prescript good. Poor vision close, and far. Same contacts 20+ yrs. Tried to offset with change in each eye. Doesn't help. Had migraines since young.Got a $400 bill but took off 300 for no ins. No prescript yet. Said just stick to my same one, will use cheaters with contacts. Can read with the framesI got from Walmart. Still 200. Cheaper. Neuro said didn't note check for inflamation since high MS family.. Would like to correct contacts, but just doesn't work. In between. Bad close, bad far. Will wear glasses when can. High strength, n had them thinned. Changing contact script isn't helping due to migraines. Can't work with...read full review
I chose this office because it was in network, but my insurance denied the claim for my 2 small children (this has been a consistent issue with the aetna plan we had and recently changed). I called the office about the $700+ bill to see if I could get the amount lowered and they said if I paid the bill IN FULL they would take off 10%. I'm flabbergasted and overwhelmed by the greed lack and of understanding. That's too much money for school required eye exams.
