#1 Nails

#1 Nails is right! Small tucked-away establishment, but great service and great prices. Run by just the owners at least when I was there. I was a walk-in client and only waited about five minutes for service. I got a full set of acrylics from the husband and he was very detailed about the process.

I love this place Julie does a great job! I used to get a no chip manicure now I get the powder. So much nicer lasts over three weeks. Looks great. I would recommend this place. Very nice ?

All of these other reviews are from nearly 3 years ago. Ive been going to #1 nails for almost 5 years and since julie and her husband have owned the place i have never been happier. They are my regular nail salon. Her husband is my regular nail tech and i would never go to anyway else. I get my nails done at least twice a month, every month, and they have never done me wrong. They always give me a good price for the work they did (designs/shapes/matte coats or whatever) and im always happy when i leave. They have a normal selection of colors, but they also have duplicate colors for all of the gel colors they offer, so it's actually almost hard to choose from all the colors they have. I have lived in the geneva area for my whole life and ive tried about 4 or 5 different salons and im never as satisfied as i am with #1 nails. Nearly every time i try to go to PAMPER NAILS they ask me to come back in 20/30/40 minutes. Once I finally got in to get my nails done. The lady was nice at first but then she continued to make comments about how poor my cuticles were (which made me want to hide them) and then also sort of ignored me when i asked her to fix the length because my thumbs were uneven. Overall i dont think ill be leaving them #1 anytime soon because they really are the best with service. I do recommend calling ahead to make sure they arent super busy!
