This office is outstanding! I had a bad toothache a few weeks before I was traveling through Springfield and my insurance recommended this office. Easy to get an appointment and filled in all my paperwork online. The day of my appointment I was seen on time (when does that ever happen). Turned out I was grinding my teeth so they offered to order me grinding guards and, since I dont live around here, send them to me! What customer service! If I lived here I would definatley be a long term patient!
I've started seeing Dr James McDermott's dad when I was just a girl. When Dr Tom retired and Dr Jim took over, I received the same great care. Recently I had a bad tooth over a holiday weekend. Dr Jim went above and beyond to get me in to see an root canal guy. He even met me in his office on a Saturday! I highly recommend Dr Jim and his entire staff.
I had a rough experience with dentists as a child so I am very particular about where I go and do extensive research. I have been very pleased with all my visits with Dr McDermott! I feel like he is actually checking my teeth and looking for the best route to take so I have them forever. I have not had that before. He and his TEAM are friendly, caring, and courteous - from the receptionist, insurance, hygienist all the way to Dr McDermott! I highly recommend his practice for dentistry.
