“TL/DR: Great service, good price, quick install.

We called for a quote, within a couple of days they came out. The price was pretty fair, aligned with others we'd gotten. Paul even fixed one of the windows in the living room that had slipped off the track.

We needed the front window replaced (32*48), as the glass had cracked. We also needed new tilt clips installed in the upstairs bedroom, so it slide up and down without falling out.

The time from quote to install was approximately 3 weeks.

Alex came out and did the whole job in less than an hour. The front glass (which when removed meant we had a huge amount of freezing air blowing into our home) was fixed so quickly we only went without a window for 5 minutes.

“I had purchased replacement windows from Lake Cook Exteriors many years ago. The best money I have ever spent on the house - they look and work great. Unfortunately, one of the windows fogged up indicating a seal had failed. I contacted Lake Cook and they advised me it was covered under warranty. They asked me for the serial number of that specific window. I emailed it to them along with a photo of the cloudy window, and they ordered and installed the replacement - no charge. “We were referred to Gilkey by a friend who used them a few years ago. Then, several other friends also recommended them. After talking to several window replacement companies, we chose to sign with Gilkey. While not a huge job, we replaced six windows for now and have a few more we'll do in the fall. When the sales rep was here, he told us our windows were all older Gilkey windows and the glass seals were shot on a number of them. He said they were still under warranty and we should contact service to have some measure the glass for replacement. I didn't wait, and they measured within a few days. This morning, the six windows were replaced. My goodness, they did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Other than the smell of caulk, you would never know they were here. The windows are so much easier to open and close and look great. I'll update this review when the replacement glass on the older windows is installed. I highly recommend Gilkey for replacement windows.“

Dave, Rob, and team have now upgraded the exterior of two of our homes with skill, care, and professionalism.

We went in for a consultation as we were going to update the exterior of our existing home from old, faded, and sometimes rotting 40 year old Clapboard to an updated traditional siding.

We used their in office computer simulator program to see what the house would look like using different products, colors, and scenarios. We were able to see and touch actual samples of the products so we could see the true colors and textures. They even lent us a sample so we could use it to get matching paint for the front door.

The project included tearing down the old boards, wrapping the house, installing Mastic siding, reroofing the house, removing attic/roof fans, and installing ridge vents along the roof. They also went for the details by installing a new cupola on the garage, replacing the gutters and downspouts, updating the fascia and installing shutters. Then even installed our outdoor lights!

They were very detail oriented and pointed out anything that they felt needed addressing for the best outcome.

Their pricing was very fair, and they explained their pricing and process in a very upfront and straight forward way. There were no surprises or hidden costs or any fine print to worry about. We shopped around and Muller was very competitive and many times offered more service and superior products than their competitors. Most of all they were always available and easy to reach.

The restoration process was seamless to us and we didn't have to worry or babysit the process. I was picky and wanted things in the yard protected during demolition, and they accommodated me in every way. They completely cleaned up any mess made during the process. The Muller Team was efficient, hardworking (through a heat spell that had the team working through weeks of 90+ degree temperatures). The team was professional, accommodating, personable, and most of all they were always there to address any concerns or worries we had, and answered all our questions.

All in all what a wonderful experience, and Wow! what a transformation to the house and garage. It looks fantastic! After two houses we couldn't be happier. Thanks to the Muller Team for all they do!
