They are very kind people and helpful! I had clothes and coats dry cleaned and gown recently altered! The gown was too big and too long and she (owners) made it fit perfectly! Phenomenal job!! Thank you again!!! ?Services: Clothing alterations & repairs
I have used Apple Tree Cleaners a few times now since moving to the Chicago suburbs. I am not doing anything specific, but only dry cleaning dress shirts, expensive polos, and shorts. They haven't let me down. The clothes are returned clean, hung properly on the correct hangers (I *hate* when safety pins are used to hang my shorts), and they are on time. Out of the local dry cleaners in the immediate area, I would go to them over anyone else. (Especially CD. See my other review on them.)
Went in here with a workshirt that had a hole in the sleeve. This was on a Thur morning at 8 am. The woman said that she would sew the hole. I had several other pinholes too. Then she got cranky with me. Too many holes she said. OK sew the big one I said. She says OK when do you want it? I said tmmrw morning. She says no how about Tuesday? It was over the holiday weekend. I said no because you're only open 7 to 5, and I'm working during all those hours. And I also know that they're not open on Saturday and I also work Saturday. I said tomorrow. She then got pissy with me and said going to be more money. Originally she quoted $15, I thought I'll be a couple more dollars and I knew I was stuck, since I only had today off and tomorrow off... Then back to work on Tuesday after the holiday and then I wouldn't be able to-pick it up. I said OK. She says OK tomorrow morning 8 AM. I show up the next day at 8 AM and the price was $25!!! I'm like, WTF! On top of that she's sewed nothing. She put a big patch on the inside of the sleeve and sewed around that. That really pissed me off ,because now that patch is rubbing on my arm and I don't like it. Furthermore , I could've had my mother-in-law do that if I wanted a patch done. So, the answer is NO, I don't recommend them. They are gougers, and they don't do the job right.
