I live out of state and this is the only academy that is able to meet my needs. Real Gongfu for anyone desiring to learn.

Jade Fortress (formerly Huang Lin Bao Jian) is the only school I've been able to find in Champaign (as well as one of the few in the Midwest) able to be able to trace it's lineage back to Shaolin. Shifu Demitri has been training in Shaolin for an exceptionally long time and is a disciple of Shi de Cheng of Shaolin and carries on the tradition of Shaolin with his frequent returns to China to advance his knowledge, on both a practical and a philosophical level. His school reflects the committment of someone who has pledged to carry on Shaolin's tradition of marrying the martial and spiritual sides and welcomes all types of students, from those looking for the more popular forms of martial training and self defense as well as those seeking strengthen their bodies against old age.
