“I have been looking for a new nail salon since moving back to IL. I had one completely disregard what I wanted. At Tip Nails, Kathy greeted me right away. She looked at my nails for a few minutes to make sure she saw how they were done wrong, not shaped to coffin, and the thickness. She listened to me as I asked if we could get them cut down a little and more in the Coffin shape I was on my break from work, but was still texting for important messages. She didn’t mind waiting, talked to me throughout, and listened to every detail I shared. My nails look exactly how I wanted them, and I wasn’t charged an insanely high number. “I cannot say enough good things about this place. I walked in and was immediately greeted by both owners, despite how busy they were. Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating. Mimi and Tania did my nails (I got acrylics, so Mimi applied them and Tania did the full manicure) and both were extremely detail-oriented. I mentioned how long my cuticles had gotten and they spent time making sure they were perfect. My pedicure was just as amazing - their massage chairs are so comfortable! I was so lucky to find this gem and plan on coming back often. Highly recommend!“

“Still having gel manicures every three weeks...still have perfect nails. Tanya is the very best! The salon has been sold to new owners and they do now take credit cards. Also, lots of great services have been added...all kinds of facials, skin care treatments, and permanent makeup options. Ramona dyed and curled(?) my stick-straight lashes. Wow! I didn't know they could look this good. This is a great shop. It's friendly, clean, and accommodating. They do everything they can to make their clients comfortable. And in case the virus is a concern, they do everything you'd want to have done to guard against COVID - I am hyper-cautious and feel perfectly comfortable here. Stations are distanced and have shields, masks are required, hand-sanitizer is everywhere, and there are never a lot of people in the salon at one time. You can even pay without touching anything. There's a reason this salon has been around for 20+ years. It's a quiet little jewel and I highly recommend it.“
