Good morning. It took me until the day after to collect my thoughts, To write this review, I went to the new location of Massage Envy in Oak Park/ River Forest. The experience that I had at this location as a first time client of Massage Envy was horrible the massage therapist that I had was not the friendliest person she wasn’t very inviting. I feel as though I didn’t get what I paid for, first of all I’ve had many massages before and this was one of the worst. This writer signed up as a member approximately 8 months ago. Since then I have found it very difficult to utilize my coupons and/or schedule an appointment with someone I enjoyed. Example, I was never able to use my stone massage coupon that was given as a new member . This writer was told that she will be put on their waitlist, still no call or accommodations. This is just one example out of many . Additionally, this writer had several scheduled appointments with Chi Chi, only to be canceled by staff on several different occasions. This was my 1st massage and I wouldn’t go back it’s kind of a scam, my masseuse was not friendly and did not make any effort to make me comfortable or explain the process…..I didn’t feel relived after my visit and I ran late because I had another appointment but they made it seem like I had already paid so I couldn’t cancel, after checking my account I learned that I didn’t pay upfront and I could have just rescheduled….I will go somewhere local next time….Jeffrey was not friendly and I felt uncomfortably letting somone so dry and awkward give me a massage.
