“Hillside Pet Clinic has always been so good to my dog, Bandit. Sometimes we think he gets “sick” on purpose so he can go visit his friends at Hillside! Would recommend taking your pet there.“

Her technicians - Brittany & Haley gave her oxygen & heat support and Haley was able to place a lifesaving IV catheter in her nearly non-existent vein to give dextrose fluids. Dr. Jenner and her team saved Abby and she was able to go home on heat support & a high calorie diet. She is doing better after a couple days of monitoring & treatment. “I want to take a moment to thank the incredible staff for saving my dogs life and taking such good care of him. We brought our Pomeranian in on Friday evening after noticing a large amount of blood in his stool. Dr. Breashears saw him Friday evening, ran some tests, gave him some meds and he seemed to be ok. Saturday morning he took a turn for the worse and back to emergency we went. Dr. Breashears admitted him for further testing. They didn’t know at this point what was wrong with him, only that he was going downhill and quickly. Dr. Wierhrdt took over for the weekend and it turns out he has IMHA. Basically his body was attacking his red blood cells. It didn’t look good for our little 9lb ball of sweetness but God and Dr. Wiehrdt managed to get our little guy back on track after a blood transfusion and various meds.

The staff was so patient with my calls for updates and even invited me up to visit him. I never once felt as if he wasn’t in good hands and knew everyone was working on trying to get him healthy again. Thank you all from the staff at the front, to the vet techs, to the doctors, to everyone that took care of my little guy. He wasn’t an easy case and I am forever grateful I get more days with him. You all are angels on earth and I am forever thankful for your service.
