“I brought my 5 year old in for his first eye exam today and I honestly can’t say enough great things about the experience. From the moment we walked in the staff was very welcoming to both myself and my son. As we prepared to sit and wait to be called back (which turned out to be less than a minute) the staff brought out crayons and stickers for my son. The nurse who helped with the exam used kid friendly explanations of what was going to happen when she used each machine. The doctor was wonderful and used kid friendly techniques to complete the exam. My son left saying “I like going to the eye doctor!” I 100% recommend Bixby Eye Center especially for childhood exams.“

“During a routine exam for contacts Dr. Fitch found an indication of a possible tumor on my left retina and sent me to a specialist. I opted to go to Northwestern Medical in Chicago as I was already a patient there for an unrelated condition. Upon extensive testing Dr. Fitch's diagnosis was confirmed. Fortunately the tumor at the top of my left retina was benign but the specialists also found other tumors on the bottom of my eye which has to be monitored every 3 months for the next year to make sure they don't mutate into a rare eye cancer. I will be forever thankful for Dr. Fitch! Peoria is very fortunate to have such an outstanding doctor!“
