We are incredibly happy (and impressed) with the work Dan and his guys have done! Dan worked within our ideas and desires to refit our basement, adding a 3/4 bathroom, storage room, and maintenance access, as well as refinishing the office and living space post-flooding damage. We spend a lot of time in our basement and Dan understood that, and created a comfortable and beautiful new space down there.Some specifics:--Dan's team finished the job 2 days ahead of his estimate. Very happy with the A1 Quality Construction team. Dan was professional, and his team was punctual. About two weeks prior to the scheduled start date, Dan called us to inform us that the material prices had increased considerably, AND THAT HE WAS WILLING TO REFUND 100% OF OUR DEPOSIT if the price increase exceeded our budget. I knew he was honest because material prices have been increasing throughout the year in my place of work. I also confirmed the increases with others in the construction field. We are very pleased with the service Dan of A-1 Quality gave us. They came when they said they would and made every effort to accommodate our wishes/design for a side entryway for our 150 year old home. Due to it’s uniqueness it did take longer than they had projected, BUT very importantly there was no additional charge, only the original quote. We also appreciated the fact they didn’t try to take shortcuts to finish…but were very dedicated to doing a thorough job. The carpenters really took pride in their workmanship and made every effort to complete a first rate job. Dan said he wanted us happy - and we were.
