“Image Guided Superficial Radiotherapy (IG-SRT). Radiation and radioactivity were discovered more than 100 years ago. Today, radiation is an important part of cancer treatment and more than half of all people diagnosed with cancer received radiation as at least part of their cancer treatment. Just like from the initial time one started to develop skin cancer, a mutation took place in the genes of DNA. The same process is happening in radiation therapy, it works by damaging the cells DNA, this time the cancer cells, which prevents them from dividing and spreading any further. “I started to see Dr. Charles for yearly skin cancer screenings. I have since added Botox and some fillers for my face and a special skin lightening treatment for my freckles. I have been very pleased with the outcome of these treatments. He has a very pleasing disposition and while being completely professional he does joke around with patients who want to joke around with him. He is very patient and willing to explain everything to you in as much detail as you would like to hear, while never talking down to you.There are a lot of brochures in the office so you could take something home and look at it on your own time. There’s never any pressure to get any procedure done. The buildings very bright and spacious and clean. They don’t seem to have an excess of handicapped parking places however on certain days they have valet parking. I’m not positive but I think it’s free. He’s a very no pressure doctor he will give you your options and give you your own set amount of time to decide. Like I said no pressure. I have not had any excessive wait times either in the waiting room or in the treatment room. He’s very gentle with his touch and warns you when he’s about to put a needle in so you’re not startled. I would easily advise family and friends to try him for any dermatological issues that the may have.“
