“Have been going to Dr Choi for about 16 years since she opened her practice. She and her staff are wonderful!! Dr Choi spends time with parents explaining condition of your pet, options if there is a health problem, and provides personalized, compassionate care. She isn’t rushed. Will definitely continue for her to be my babies’ vet.“

“I took my baby here this morning to get a wellness exam and her updated rabies shots. Had an appointment for 8:45 AM we came on time got checked in at the counter. The lady checking us in seemed to be having a bad day. She wasn't all that friendly. However, everyone else was very pleasant. The veterinarian was so kind and informative, she let me ask all the questions I needed and answered any of my concerns. I came in at 8:45 and left at 9:20ish. Which is pretty good. I also thought the price was pretty affordable. For her wellness check and 3 year rabies altogether it was $180.00. I was definitely preparing for a steeper number than that. Overall, it was a pleasant visit and I always feel my kitty is in great care here.“

Every aspect of my dog’s procedure was explained, along with an itemized estimate for his insurance. Day of the procedure went seamlessly. He was alert and happy when I picked him up. Sugar Grove Animal Hospital staff was amazing they took such good care of my boy and I was outta there for $80. That includes 2 medications and a nail trim for the other nails. I had my two young kids with me and our dog and they assisted me in getting everyone in the room and were so patient with us. “This is a late but well deserved review! FVAWL has the BEST STAFF I have ever encountered anywhere! Please ignore the one bad review on this page! They have neutered a pit mix for me 6 years ago. I had received several quotes from several of the well known animal clinics in the Aurora/Oswego area. The quotes were astronomical because it was for a pit mix. A friend gave me the phone number for FVAWL. I called and received a call back regarding my dog. I asked if there was an upcharge for a pit mix. There was not!! The neuter was based on weight! The cost was so affordable! Everything went well! The cost of the neuter, shots, chip, and meds was around $200! Fast forward to the present, they have now neutered my cat in 2021 and continue to provide yearly shots for him!!

The clinic is staffed by volunteers!! Instead of complaining, lend some for your time. I will be looking into volunteering myself.“
