“Due to unexpected circumstances we lost my father-in-law who knew everything about anything recently. With your world still spinning from that you forget about day to day life. My mother-in-law in a panic yesterday explained she doesn't know how to work their boiler! Don't get me wrong YouTube can put people through college but with both of her sons working the next day and me not wanting to start a fire I called Zark's. Everyone in Manhattan always suggest them I figured what do I have to lose, they work on older houses?! Omg the SWEETEST AND INCREDIBLY NICE lady named Nicole, answered the phone. She was giving me different dates (a week or so out which I expected) and then she stop and said, "Wait let me see what I can do..I'll call you back." Not even long enough to call my husband back to tell him, she called. "Can you be there today? I have a technician!" (And the angels came down and sang a song) "Of course!!" She made it happen and she sent the nicest man named Bill out. He was so patient with my mother-in-law (who was in and out of tears upset she didn't pay attention all the other times) and myself. He helped me label the pipes even let me take a video because sometimes I forget lol. He must of ask a handful of times is there anything else? Even gave us some things to watch out for and trouble shoot. I honestly could not be so thankful for this company! Nicole being human and compassionate and Bill explaining things making us both feel confident. The value of service they gave is unmatched and I can't thank them enough!!“

“90 degrees with no air conditioning! Got in touch with Temperature Pro. Dan talked us through what we needed and hooked us up with a new Trane air conditioner/furnace in a day. Keith and Frank were at our door at 8 am, working all day to ensure we were cool by day's end! Friendly and professional, they did meticulous work! “Maertin Heating and cooling was great to work with. Our Air Conditioning went out sometime Sunday night to Monday morning. I called as they opened for the day on Monday and they had a serviceman out to our house within 20 minutes of my call. Unfortunately after he looked into troubleshooting our unit he realized it was not fit for repair, and needed to be replaced. I received a proposal with 5 options an hour later and we made our selection and they were able to get us a new unit for the next day ( Thankfully! These were 2 of the hottest days of summer). On Tuesday I received a call about 7:40am letting me know Alec was on his way. When he arrived, he introduced himself and asked where his access points to the unit were so he could start. He was extremely professional. He came to me anytime to make me aware of any issues he was having and explained how he was going to fix them. Alec’s work inside and out was impressive (and much neater than the previous work). Once he had the unit up and running he let me know to close the windows and gave me all my paperwork for our new unit. He cleaned up any kind of debris he had from the installation and left both inside and out looking better then when he came and double checked our gate so that once he was gone our dogs would not get out.
