“I had my annual Blue Light treatment with Cassie yesterday and as always Cassie treats my face to eliminate all the pre-cancers. The office make up has changed, after the medicine was applied to my face I had to go sit in the waiting room for an hour. Used to stay in the room where the med. Was applied While the results are the same (VG) I did not like this new set up at all. Staff is very professional, friendly and Dr.Allen and Cassie are excellent. As someone who is fair skinned, freckled and was always sunburned in my youth, skin cancer terrifies me. Many years later, my skin is showing the damage (so wear sunscreen always!) that cannot be undone. It’s my job (which I don’t always do well) is to stay consistent with my checkups. Dr. Lichon takes her time with patients from Botox to the extreme. I first met Dr. Lichon when I took my (then 5 year old daughter) to see her for some warts around her mouth. She was so gentle and kind. The warts went away after a quick shot of liquid nitrogen, and a little talk from Dr. Lichon to my daughter to think positive thoughts. That was 25 years ago (:

“Image Guided Superficial Radiotherapy (IG-SRT). Radiation and radioactivity were discovered more than 100 years ago. Today, radiation is an important part of cancer treatment and more than half of all people diagnosed with cancer received radiation as at least part of their cancer treatment. Just like from the initial time one started to develop skin cancer, a mutation took place in the genes of DNA. The same process is happening in radiation therapy, it works by damaging the cells DNA, this time the cancer cells, which prevents them from dividing and spreading any further.
