What an amazing experience! Our little has been with us since he was 3.5 and is now 8. As he is getting older, he wants his hair longer and I didn’t know how to care for it. Shavonne is an angel. She didn’t make me feel stupid for not taking care of his hair properly. I was using what was suggested to me by another stylist, but it was not what was right for his current hair. She was patient with him as he even cried (he hates having his hair touched). We just completed our newly nightly hair routine and I felt competent and it went good. His hair is looking and feeling healthier already. I am so thankful they exist! Thank you for creating this salon for my family!!!

We visited Styles 4 Kidz with our 2 year old African-American daughter. My husband and I are both Caucasian and have ZERO experience with textured hair. Researching online was getting overwhelming, so we decided to make the trek up to S4K. It was so worth it! Our stylist, Shavonne, was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and non-judgmental. She not only taught us practical things, but also infused confidence and hope that we CAN actually learn to take care of our precious girl's hair. We loved the experience and will definitely be back! I highly recommend! Thank you, Tamekia, for creating a space for families like us! Thank you, Shavonne, for being great at what you do!
