Over the phone they told me that my insurance would be accepted and I was in network. At my appointment, IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BLOOD PRESSURE BEING TAKEN, the receptionist came in and told me my insurance was not accepted. I told her to call the number on the back because I have an extended network. She would not call to verify. She said whoever I talked to on the phone did not actually verify with my insurance either. I called them back later and the person on the phone said that my network had the wrong birthdate for me and that's why they couldn't verify the insurance. I called the main 800 number, I had to make ask about a test one of the doctors in Oak Park ordered. They transferred me to the local office, waited and waited. Hung up and redialed using the local number. The answering message said they were already closed for the day. One would think the mian answering department would know when the satellite offices closed. Just another example of either big hospitals or staff that cares little. And I'm not an elderly person calling. I can only imagine if someone was in pain or whatever

This place is terrible. For the 2nd time now I had appointment and they gonna tell me once I arrive that I don't have it. Later the same day I go on my chart to find out yes I did have the appointment but at the other location. This is ridiculous! They didn't bother to let me know that I did have appointment but at another location... I missed my appointment and now my primary care don't have anything open for a month. After this time I m not coming back, looking for a new primary care.
