If I could leave 10 stars for Dr. Rieger and zero for the staff, this is what this place deserves. Gone are the days of wanting personalized care from your doctor. This office does everything in its power to steer you away from your provider (who my kids have seen their whole lives) to "anyone available". When Dr. Rieger was at Burr Ridge it was easy to get in touch with him and now it is impossible. My daughter has been sick for over 24 hours and no one has returned my phone call...I doubt Dr. Rieger even got my message bc I know he would have reached out by now. The only reason we have no left is bc Dr Rieger is an amazing doctor, but we will have no choice if Loyola Health keeps running his office into the ground.

The wait times to talk to an OPERATOR to get SCHEDULED with a primary physician is about 15 minutes. And then they have to transfer you to the doctor office which could be another wait.Even the operators don't have direct lines to the doctor offices. Every doctor is a 6 week in advance appointment. And the doctors just prescribe medication - they DO NOT care about things like PT or any alternatives to medication. These doctors work for a company, not for patients. The only reason we still go here is because they have a large network and i thought going with a university backed health system meant top notch service - NOPE.I am going to try Rush hospital and a few local...read full review

Over the phone they told me that my insurance would be accepted and I was in network. At my appointment, IN THE MIDDLE OF MY BLOOD PRESSURE BEING TAKEN, the receptionist came in and told me my insurance was not accepted. I told her to call the number on the back because I have an extended network. She would not call to verify. She said whoever I talked to on the phone did not actually verify with my insurance either. I called them back later and the person on the phone said that my network had the wrong birthdate for me and that's why they couldn't verify the insurance. I called my insurance company, who told me nobody at the doctor's office never called them, the insurance company does have the right birthdate, and the network she claimed she called doesn't even maintain information on patients - it's just a network listing of doctors. So, that makes 3 employees of this doctors office that all did not do their job properly, costing me a wasted day off of work, weeks of extended waiting now to set up new care, and a whole lot of headache. STAY AWAY from this place.
