My experience at Ink Upgrade has been fantastic. My stylist, Laketha, does wonders with my hair. My hair was damaged and shedding when I walked into Ink a a year ago. Three months after my first appointment my had sheen , shedding stopped and the overall health and condition of my hair had improved drastically- continues to do so to this present day. As far as styling, I like cute, jazzy short cuts , nothing over the top but with some edge. I have not been disappointed , I loved the styles! I walk out each time feeling like a million bucks . Services are reasonably priced. Other stylists: There seems to be stylist for anything you want (e.g. extensions, natural). I've seen some fabulous weave styles done. Wait time: under 15 minutes. I state 15 minutes and that's probably an over estimate but Laketha works efficiently. She has assistants that for shampooing / prep work for styling. Note: Fridays appears to be her busiest day. Call to confirm. I rave about this place because I had been looking for a salon that was close, that had a stylist that was takes pride in their work, and listens. Trust me, I've been on the hunt. To date, there hasn't been a time I been there and felt as if I wasted my money. Even if we switched it up and tried something different with hair and I like I'm not really feeling it ( which has only happened once) - she's like we know not go that route. I been going to Laketha for a little over a year - so by now she knows what I would like and not like . Hope this review helps with your quest for a fab hair stylist. I found one!
