“We have hired Stratagem Construction for major renovations on two homes, our current and previous residence in Chicago. They did a great job with both projects. Most recently, they gutted our kitchen and rebuilt it from the studs, did a major basement renovation, replacing an outdated bar with a kitchenette and re-doing a bathroom, and transformed our powder room and fireplace surround. Each job was done well and thoughtfully. What really sets Stratagem apart is the responsiveness and honesty of its contractor, Mitch Newman. They provide a very detailed bid before they start work on a project and then they come in on budget, barring legitimately unforeseen complications (we had one of those in the basement.) A lot of contractors are going to submit a final bill that dramatically exceeds the initial bid, but you don't have to worry about that with Stratagem. And unlike other contractors, they'll never ghost you / go incommunicado for days at a time. We definitely would use them again and have recommended Stratagem to several friends.“

“Best in the business! As a Facility Manager at an entertainment venue under construction. One of many assignments I was elected to engage, was creating the punch list for the trades. Huen Electric being 1 out of 12 different trades. Their installation from transformer, power station, several hundred programmable LED light fixtures, as well as Miles of cable running through a three story 27° radius venue, had little to no corrections. At this particular build it’s not uncommon that we purchased all of our material. This venue is a high-end LEED certified building. Some of the material that was engineered clearly was counter productive. If Scott White just followed his scope of work we would’ve never obtained the acceptable score needed to win our LEED certification. Scott White was able to make all the necessary corrections. Scott kept me in the loop every step of the way, and I was never invoiced an additional penny. After this venue was awarded the LEED certification. I mentioned Huen Electric as being a major contributor. Scott continued to honor all warranty issues that included most failures being of sub-par material. I’ve worked several new construction sites thru my 25 years. Having Scott White representing Huen Electric and all the IBEW brother’s and sister’s that utilize their skill-set.
