Lewis Floor & Home has a very large selection of carpet and other flooring, the largest I have seen. Barbara helped me pick some carpet for the bedrooms in our house. She was very patient as I took a long time to decide which carpet I wanted. She gave me some great options, checked on alternatives and pricing. I also feel that I got a great value for the super soft and pet friendly carpet that I selected.
We've done business with Lewis over the years and liked it because it's convenient and they have a nice selection. We just had carpet put it , and although we are happy with the product, we have had a less than optimal experience with their customer service. Poor communication, they haggle and are inefficient with trivial things (samples), somewhat pushy salespeople (likely heavily commission based, where if you need something and your salesperson isn't there -- tough luck), and arrogant/rude customer service. They (customer service) act like they are doing us a favor , despite the fact we have spent a LOT of money supporting their business. I don't mind spending a little more as long as I get a good quality product, helpful expertise, and customer service. But I have to say I was disappointed. Perhaps for small projects they are fine, for larger projects do your research and look around --because if you have an issue they're probably not going to be too helpful. I really felt like they could care less about customer satisfaction.
I am a first time customer to lewis floor and home. Ralph Schiff was our salesperson and kudos goes out to him for helping us choose flooring and carpet for our home. The selection was wonderful and Ralph really went out of his way to listen to our needs and point us in the right direction for our choices. Prices were very competetive and he really put a reasonable package together for us . Look no further , Ralph is a very knowledgeable salesperson that cares about his clients. Ralph, thank you for all your help and time.Five star service all the way. Howie A.
