I have worked with Mitch Cohen and ECS since 1992. At the time, I was a credit analyst with a local bank and Mitch was an accounting associate at the firm. He and the firm have always been very accessible. In addition to that, the information provided in the accompanying footnotes made my job so much easier. The company whose information I was examining didn't even have audited statements. I could tell this was a firm that went above and beyond for its clients. Many years later, I referred the firm to a client who was being audited by the IRS. The company couldn't get its current accountant to meet with the agent and wanted some representation. The IRS was saying the company owed more than $100,000 in taxes, penalties and interest. Mr. Cohen worked with the company and agent to get a resolution. The result was was a five figure refund to my client's company. ECS is incredibly professional and thorough. They work with my clients as true business advisors. They are not just number crunchers. They do an excellent job as strategic advisors. I will continue to refer business to them. I have never been let down. They help me look good as a valued resource just by working with professional companies like ECS Financial Services.
