“I usually don't participate in these reviews, but I'm so grateful that I found Peggy and her staff of amazing caregivers. My mom had hip surgery and Wishing Well Home Care was one of the local home care companies recommended in my mom's discharge packet. We met with representatives from about five companies and felt most comfortable with WWHC. We had never been in the market for a caregiver before and didn't even know what questions to ask. Peggy was very patient and a wealth of information during our initial meeting. She really knows her stuff! We met a number of caregivers and found a perfect fit for my mom, who was extremely hesitant about this whole process to begin with. Maggie is compassionate, reliable and feels like one of the family. She lives a couple of miles from my mom's home, so we are happy that she is nearby especially during these Chicago winters. “As my father aged his main goal was to remain in his home as long as possible. In order to help satisfy his request we knew it was time for 24/7 in-home help. We reached out to Touching Hearts and met with John. John assured us that they would be partners in the process and that he would find the best possible match for us. I found that to be spot-on If the match did not fit or we had other concerns he would find a suitable replacement. Over the course of 2 years we did request a few changes. John provided an immediate response and a new caregiver was provided. In the time we worked with Touching Hearts we were never left uncovered if one of the caregivers was ill or had a conflict. Communication was quick and the replacement provided. We reached a point where staying in the home was no longer possible but the transition provided by Touching Hearts provided us with the opportunity keep our dad in his house a few more years. John, Jeff and Sharon are extremely approachable and invested in their clients.“

“Having past experience with The Key caring for an elderly parent we called them when I unexpectedly needed some care following surgery. An excellent decision! Nancy and Gail took the time to explain options and respond quickly to what became a changing situation. The home health aides were all pleasant, competent, and respectful. Diane who helped me with getting a nurse for my child was always great very positive and always very polite, the best part of the agency was our nurse ralene, she is a great nurse always on time never called off and always on point with my child's care. “Im in a mobility devuce...a scooter...and the halleats and doorways were way too nsrrow. I had great difficulty maneuverung around and getting into exam rooms. The layout is very handicap unfriendly and there are no power doors. The ekevator eas also a bit difficult because the shape of the elevator had the long side perpendicular to the entry, so i had to turn into it unstead if just pulling firward. Many disabled folk have diffuculty twisting making backing up a blind maneuver. If i could pull in straight and back up straught, that would be much easier that having to back up while turning.“
