She's grown her personal clientele to the point she no longer takes new clients. I have to book out my appointments a year in advance with the salon's incredibly wonderful assistant, Melissa, and I treat those appointments as "written in stone." Finding another appointment if I have no choice but to cancel is usually impossible; I end up waiting until my next scheduled appointment. Melissa has Dena's entire clientele's appointment schedule, needs, and preferences saved in what I refer to as her "bible." She automatically schedules appointments for Dena's clientele when she opens a new appointment calendar. Dena has become a friend over the years and I love her dearly.“
