As of 10/24/24 the men's steam room is out of service it worked yesterday. The front desk told me the women's steam room has been out of service for two months. The infrared sauna in the men's locker room has been out of service for more than a year. Rumor is that it will be replaced by a real stone sauna, but no work has been done. What is the point of having these things if you're not going to upkeep them?

The staff at LA fitness on Touhy are very friendly and helpful. The club is clean. I enjoy working out there. Unfortunately their stair machines are broken(non usable) quite often. Sometimes only 2 or 3 are available. There are enough of other cardio machines so not a big deal. I recommend LA Fitness on Touhy.

I have been a member of several of these. Some are better than others but they are reasonably priced and have classes and equipment. They tend to get pretty busy at certain hours and cleanliness varies gym to gym. Their pools are small but you can swim in them. They have a good variety of classes. Visit the gym you want at the hours you would go. This gym works well for many people.
