“The staff has been taking care of my sister for the past 4 months and they have been wonderful. I had a moment with social services but the administrator stepped in to assist me with getting some help for my sister.
Also, the nurses are very nice and engaging with my sister. The CNA's are Rockstars when it comes caring for my sister. I can tell the ones that really care for the patients.
Generations is doing a great job and we are praying that she can start rehab therapy soon to start walking and talking.“

“As my father aged his main goal was to remain in his home as long as possible. In order to help satisfy his request we knew it was time for 24/7 in-home help. We reached out to Touching Hearts and met with John. John assured us that they would be partners in the process and that he would find the best possible match for us. I found that to be spot-on If the match did not fit or we had other concerns he would find a suitable replacement. Over the course of 2 years we did request a few changes. John provided an immediate response and a new caregiver was provided. In the time we worked with Touching Hearts we were never left uncovered if one of the caregivers was ill or had a conflict. Communication was quick and the replacement provided. We reached a point where staying in the home was no longer possible but the transition provided by Touching Hearts provided us with the opportunity keep our dad in his house a few more years. John, Jeff and Sharon are extremely approachable and invested in their clients.“

“We have one caregiver from Home Instead/ Honor. Her name is Sharon Ly'burtus. She is amazing. My father connected with her right away. She is thoughtful and caring. She cares for my dad from 8 pm to 8 am four nights a week. She provides toileting help, dressing and undressing, and all mobility and transfer help she does it with grace and care of the details. What we like most is how much she engages with dad. Dad is 93 with advanced Parkinson's, and some heart issues. They talk about the past, sing songs together. Dad texted me this morning and said " I am up, dressed scrubbed and shaved. What a nice job Sharon does." I highly recommend her. We love her!“

“My experience with Care in the Home was the best. My mom had surgery and care in the home was the Home Health company assigned to her. my mom was discharged on a Saturday. I called the number provided and I spoke to someone named Tracy and she got the ball rolling. My mom had an exceptional nurse, Thierry. She was very attentive and just wonderful. She even volunteered to pick my mom’s meds once. She coordinated my mom’s care with the doctor and got all my mom’s medical needs taken care of. Juan and Ewa were my mom’s physical therapists and they were more than wonderful. They got her back in shape in no time. I’m more than grateful for the care my mom received from Care in the Home. I think they are the best home health company in the Chicagoland area.“

“I use to work with this company through DHS, I had a great Supervisor/ Case manager, her name was Jennifer she was good at doing her job.“

“Im in a mobility devuce...a scooter...and the halleats and doorways were way too nsrrow. I had great difficulty maneuverung around and getting into exam rooms. The layout is very handicap unfriendly and there are no power doors. The ekevator eas also a bit difficult because the shape of the elevator had the long side perpendicular to the entry, so i had to turn into it unstead if just pulling firward. Many disabled folk have diffuculty twisting making backing up a blind maneuver. If i could pull in straight and back up straught, that would be much easier that having to back up while turning.“
