Tracy Berman was our designer, and she created a thoughtful design that was really tailored for how we want (and need) to use the kitchen. Tracy’s design is so great – functional, timeless, but with some pizzazz and fun design elements that make it unique and OURS. Having Tracy provide suggestions and options to choose from as starting points made the process so much easier than going to the store and picking out everything from scratch. Tracy totally understood our style, stuck to our budget, and we never felt pressured into anything.

On the build side, The Kitchen Master does everything and makes sure that their subcontractors tour the house before the design is finalized to make sure the pricing is accurate and any potential issues or surprises are discussed up front. Tom Myers ran the show and he was very patient with all of our questions and always made me feel like he had our back when there were any hiccups along the way. Michael Peshia was the guy that was there almost every day ripping things apart and putting things back together again. Michael did amazing work, taking great care and patience with our wonky ceilings, and has amazing attention to detail. It was great to have a single point of contact throughout the demo through the final build.

You hear so many horror stories about people’s remodeling experience and I can say we had none of that thanks to Kitchen Master. Even with some hiccups along the way, everything was done on time, on budget, and with no real stress on us as the owners. If we ever need any additional work done on our house, we will definitely use The Kitchen Master again!“

Gary Lyon, Project Manager, and his crew went Above and Beyond Expectations.
I am extremely pleased with the refinishing of the oak floor in my great room and the extensions down the halls where the carpeting was removed and replaced seamlessly with matching oak flooring. In the kitchen area, the old water damaged oak in front of the dishwasher was replaced and I can’t distinguish the new from the old!
I was very impressed with how well the crew, each with their own area of expertise, worked smoothly and efficiently throughout the various stages of the project.
When the floors were sufficiently dry then hardened, the furniture crew made certain my furniture was put back together and placed exactly where I wanted. I was surprised to hear the crew is coming back when my cleaned area rugs are delivered and will lay them for me then put my furniture back.

“My wife Noreen and I are more than satisfied with the professional job done by Balanced Load Electric in Naperville. We were having our garage refinished (floor, insulation, drywall), and wanted to improve the lighting as well as get away from dangling extension cords and power strips to power refrigerator, deep-freeze, and various charging bases. We met with one of the owners, Frank for a consult, and agreed to what we felt was a fair price for professional work. Chris did most of the work before our insulation project got started, installing two LED panel lights, and the conduit for two sets of outlets on the back wall. Another electrician, Dan, came out yesterday to finish the work, now that the drywall was complete. We were very pleased with the work, and the two LED panels do a great job of lighting up the space. We're happy to now have a reliable and professional electrician as a go-to for our future needs.“
