“Great store with a wide variety of instruments that are all set up properly, as well as repair services that are second to none, best repairs and set ups in the Chicago-land area and arguably the world! I've been coming here for 13 years and have bought most of my instruments here, best guitar shop in the Chicago-land area bar none!“
“My daughter has taken piano, voice and music theory lessons with Audie for seven years. He has helped shape her love for music and the way she approaches each song. We love the many opportunities that Christopher Laughlin provides for their students to practice performing in front of an audience, building up confidence and comfort as well as plenty of fun. Great experience, highly recommend this school.“
“Ms. Alexis is an amazing teacher. She has such patience with beginners. My kids enjoy each lesson.“
“Fantastic service and staff. The owner is a treat to deal with, and a breath of fresh air.“
“Ricky is a great teacher. I have been taking lessons with him for almost five years and have really enjoyed his teaching style. He is great with kids as well. My son takes bass lessons from him and really enjoys them. You should take lessons from Ricky!“
“I used to service musical instruments for a electronics company. We used music parts guru for a lot of our parts. They have tons of stock and are knowledgeable on their products. They are a little hard to find in the industrial park.“
“Mrs Clark is an amazing piano teacher and my children look forward to each and every lesson. She provides a personalized lesson for your piano student based on their ability and aptitude. You'll see progress but be sure to keep up with your practice. Mrs Clark's lessons are reasonably priced and work around your schedule. Even if you have to travel a bit, I'm sure you'll find this piano teacher well worth the modest investment in your piano students future.“
“Great school, friendly teachers, awesome classes and chances for collaboration across instruments. Highly recommend.“
“Helping staff. Excellent teachers at the Schaumburg branch. Just the rooms lack ventilation“
“While I can't speak regarding a purchase, I want to rave, Rave, RAVE about their guitar tech Mike. This guy is nice, knowledgeable, non-condescending and seems to love what he does. Prices for set ups and what not at GC are steep, but I will pay those prices as long as GC HP keeps Mike around. Every guitar I've taken for setups/re-string plays sweet as can be. Thanks Mike!“
“On Friday, I started looking for a local professional piano tuner and cleaner. After a quick Google search, I found the Mount Prospect-based Key Tone Piano Services. From the moment I called, John was very friendly, and we scheduled an appointment for yesterday.Prior to showing up, John called me ahead of time to let give me a heads up. When he showed up, he wore a mask and took appropriate COVID-19 precautions. From there, he took a few pieces off the piano and I left him to it.This was probably the second time in our piano's lifespan that it had ever been tuned, and the previous owners didn't use it much, so there was a lot to do. This wasn't a problem for Key Tone Piano Services as John adjusted a misaligned key, tightened the strings as needed, and removed adhesive from labels previously placed on the keys.John finished his piano tuning work in roughly four hours (probably longer than the standard since it was so out of tune). When he was finished, he also took some time to educate me on piano tuning and cleaning best practices. Out of curiosity, he even looked up the model and found that our piano is from the 1940's.Today, he followed up with a quick email, highlighting his warranty policy along with a few remaining tips to set us up for success moving forward. Overall, John Dukes was extremely professional and skilled at his work. I very much look forward to working with him and Key Tone Piano Services again next year.“
