Using the machine was very easy. Follow the on-screen instructions and you'll successfully make a duplicate key. It's the first time I used the machine and was very pleased.
Purchased brass keys with upgrade to High Performance Cut (which really smoothed out the cuts to almost flat). Don't know if it was because of the upgrade but I had a hard time turning these keys in my deadbolt locks. One lock, the keys would only turn right not left. I contacted KeyMe and they were quick to refund my purchase. I will try KeyMe again but this time I'll just do the regular cut with the jagged teeth not the High Performance smooth Cut. Hopefully, it will work better in my locks. Would recommend because of the great customer service / 100% guaranteed satisfaction.
I got the keys I needed in a timely, efficient manner. The written description of the high efficiency cut was a bit misleading however. I had the impression that the pins would be filed down slightly to emulate a used key. The lack of several of them confused me. Chris, the phone representative that I spoke with was much clearer about what I thought had gone wrong and provided a much better explanation of what I ordered. Upon getting home, I tried out the keys and they did work as well or better than the originals. Well done: not well explained at first. bit well executed.
