I had a very good recent experience with Joseph Birkenheier Tuckpointing & Masonry. They came as a recommendation through a trusted source that had not personally used them but had a client give that name. A couple things stood out immediately. They were very prompt in replying back to my web inquiry and scheduled a time for Joe to come out. Joe was really thorough in estimating what should be done and was nice to have. We ended up going with the full proposal since we realized that this was work that would last 15 years or so. (Tuckpointing our fronts and sides, and also repair of our front steps, recaulking). We had this company come for the tuck pointing of our chimney and back wall of our house. The re-surfacing of our back wall is like a work of art. We are on a corner and spend lots of time on the patio. It's such an amazing improvement to the aesthetic of the home. They went above and beyond-they literally checked every brick, repaired what ever was necessary and more...they also caulked all windows...to say this company was A+ is not enough. They are the BEST! They also did a great job at clean up!
