I have been a patient for a couple of years and things started off decent. After a while, I hadn't been feeling so well, I have a thyroid issue, the blood results came back and Dr. Lazar just told me all I needed to do was loose weight. The results were on the low level but in his "Normal". Last year, after feeling flu-like symptoms, I went in for sick hours. I was told I had the flu and to go home. I went in the next day with a crazy headache and they finally told me to go to the ER. I had Uveitis along with something that so far they couldn't diagnose. I was in the hospital for 7 days, Dr. Lazar didn't visit me once. 7 days no visit in his hospital.... read full review

I hesitate to write anything because this sort of thing is really a personal preference, but after seeing so many negatives, I feel compelled to comment. My GP who works out of Docs of NS is the most caring, considerate and humane physician I've ever met. He elicits complete honesty from me and always reciprocates it. He takes a genuine interest in the story of my life and listens carefully. He is slow to prescribe and his analyses are always a mix of homespun commonsense and current research. I'm not sure what other folks look for but these are qualities that attract me. One of the receptionists can be a little brusque, but she certainly shouldn't cast... read full review
