Care at the cardinal Bernadine cancer center has been amazing. The appointments are scheduled for you and the wait time for everything is minimal. Lots of assistance, comfort and understanding during a terrifying time.thank you Loyola. I'm forever grateful.

Worst hospital I've ever visited. The staff don't communicate well with each other, the physicians as well as nurses lack empathy and compassion. If u value life/health. Don't go here!

Holy hell, this hospital is nothing more than a glorified Hobby Lobby that became a hospital. I go in after three months, recurring pelvic pain is my problem, originates from a pair of well known nerves that would be fixed with a orchiectomy. I speak to the physician who claims they can do the surgery. Instead the day before my surgery I get a rude phone call stating that a "religious ethics board" had reviewed my case after it was "flagged" by the computer and my surgery had been canceled. First of all the first surgery (Microsurgical Denervation of the Spermatic Cord -MDSC) was never medically necessary nor viable. It was plain as day to me, my surgical team and diagnostic team overseeing the orchiectomy at UIC that a bilateral ateriovenous failure of the testicles has occurred with bilateral neurological pipeline failure and bilateral epididymide cysts with a free floating tumor. The AV Failure started on the left side in 2021 as a minor issue and is now classified as a "priority surgery" at UIC as the left side has now catastrophically failed (Neurologic catastrophic, AV failure approaching catastrophic threat) I should have gone to UIC in the first place. Separation of state and religion is failing Separation of healthcare and religion needs to be a thing Dear Loyola, if your staff read this. MY BODY MY CHOICE I'm Trans. You clowns need to stop forcing your religion into peoples healthcare, what's next you're gonna say you can't give someone with lung failure a ventilator because it's against "gods will" You guys need to be shut down and I made sure that you'll at least deal with a moderate inconvenience of having the HHS OCR investigating your terrible decrepit institution. I never mentioned in my prior review, or maybe I did, every damn room in this place has a freakin crucifix in it and there's all sorts of religious artwork scattered through the building. I didn't come to a HOSPITAL to see religious garb all over, you put that in the HOSPITAL CHAPEL and KEEP IT THERE. Don't turn the whole damn facility into a chapel. I came to the hospital for a clean environment where I could be focused on healing, not your religious trash. That nude painting of Jesus you guys have in the hall, you should be ashamed that it's so close to your pediatric unit. You guys are child groomers, child molesters and yet you won't do a medical orchiectomy, yet you'll rush to castrate any man who lays with man or woman who lays with woman You religious clowns make me violently angry. One of these days I'm gonna pee into 'lectric urinal and watch the sparks go higher. (although I think someone already peed in the wrong urinal at Microsoft/Crowdstrike because half of my hospitals are illin' and not in the good way)
