“I highly recommend Pete and his crew from SWS. We had major storm damage and decided to go with the Google reviews as opposed to the dozens of contractors that came door-to-door. There are four reasons I'd recommend SWS: 1) Communication - the owner Pete gave me his cell phone and responded immediately day or night with any questions we had; very easy to schedule both roof and gutters and always responsive; 2) Care/Quality - We have an in-ground pool and bar setup near the house; Pete came by the day before the roof install with his crew to personally ensure everything was well-protected from nails and the related debris that comes with any roofing job - everything was protected and the cleanup was very well done; his foreman Nick was also a true professional and took pride in his crew doing high quality work 3) Details - Pete and team handled the permitting very quickly and we were one of the first houses completed (others waited months for permits). When we were picking out shingles, it was hard to make a decision based on the brochures, so he gave us multiple addresses in the area with the actual shingles we had narrowed down to. Once we saw them the decision was easy; 4) Honesty - we had a pre-approved claim from insurance and shared openly it with Pete. He could have taken full advantage but instead was very honest and fair in what was billed. He also got the paperwork in quickly to insurance which helped in getting the claim processed. I highly recommend SWS.“

“Uncovered water damage & mold. Bobby came out within 24 hours to check everything out and had a plan of attack. He uses great contractors, very knowledgeable, polite, honest and professional. They came out quick to identify the source and made the repairs to the roof. Osie & his team came out, laid down ram board to protect my floors, used plastic and tape to contain the area and prevent dust & debris from getting around the house. Got everything taken apart, cleaned and put back together. Excellent communication with what they were doing, answered all my questions and concerns, let me know what times they would be there and also worked around my schedule. I cannot express how awesome they were. If I ever have an unfortunate event like this again, I most certainly will be calling them again. I highly recommend them and would not use anyone else!“

“I had a terrible situation. A control in a shower upstairs broke and leaked water downstairs into the ceiling of a reading room right under the master bathroom. It was, in reality, raining in the room! Of course , it was a Saturday nite. Our plumber was very responsive and then called Parkside to finish the job. They came Saturday nite from 7-10 pm! after the plumber finished. Parkside cleared out the water, pulled up the carpet, found some mold and sprayed for that, emptied the closet, and set up machines to dry us out and regulate the humidity in the room; they remained for about 6 days. Workmen marvelous. Back they came to repair the ceiling, take down a wall and drywall and paint, and put in all new baseboards. We had insurance but had too big a deductible to use any insurance. Bummer. Bob Wehrly, the project manager, was responsive and always available.The main workman Nixon worked a very long day two days in a row. He was a delight and very client-oriented and went above and beyond expectation to please me in the clean up phase. Wonderful company, wonderful people, and I'd use them again! I made a big mistake! I was so freaked out with the rain in the room that I ran to collect buckets and beach towels when I should have turned the water to the house off immediately! Brain not working in stress situation! “We hired John and his guys to pour concrete for our driveway, garage, and patio. We went with Porch Doctors after getting quotes and talking to a few other contractors. Johns price was very reasonable and he was easy to work with. Gave us different options to choose and even handled all the permitting. Best experience I’ve had with a contractor. Everything turned out beautiful. We love our new concrete. Especially our stamped patio. Definitely give John a call for an estimate!“
