“Hair type: I have natural curly hair that I have to straighten. And it is hard finding someone who will listen about not cutting the top too short. Maggie does a great job!!! Never had an issue. The shop has this old school charm about it. Dave is super nice so is Maggie.

I scheduled an appointment on Booksy per the recommendation of a good friend whose hair always looks the best in the room. He recommended both Bilal and Kareem, who are brothers. They've mastered their craft and put in the work.

I felt a little intimidated going into a barbershop as a woman, but both Bilal and Kareem made me feel very comfortable and listened to. Bilal sat me down and asked what I wanted for my haircut. I showed him three pictures that I found online and he replicated it perfectly.

The space is clean and decorated nicely, hair products are available for purchase (I bought a styling powder on my way out), and there's a colorful and lively fish tank positioned for customers to view as they're getting their haircut.
