They were fast at getting out here, they were efficient and hard working. They took their time and made sure they found the problem and fixed it until insurance could get out here. Pioneer Plumbing met with me promptly to talk about re-configuring my kitchen to make it more functional. Prior to their help I had a "one butt kitchen" meaning only one person at a time could walk in any direction in my kitchen because the island was too big and I had a sink in that island that took up 90% of the work space. I had to put a cutting board over the sink just to have place to roll out dough or prepare any food. It was rediculous. On top of that there was an awkward tiny sink in a corner that had a faucet that did not line up with the little sink so any time you used the water it sprayed all over the counter. It was a nightmare to work in that kitchen. Also, because there was a huge double sink in the island there was no storage below...it was all taken up by pipes and an oversized garbage disposal so not only could I not walk around my kitchen without having people get in my way while I tried to cook, I also had no place to store pots and pans. Pioneer Plumbing fixed all of this for around 3k. : They helped me find a contractor who removed the huge island top and double sink and it was replaced with a smaller butcher block top. The cabinets below did not change...except now they were free of pipes and the disposal, so I could store my stock pots and baking dishes, pans and mixing bowls. Simply reducing the size of that counter, so that it did not overhang a couple of feet now freed up valuable walking space. Now you can open the refrigerator all the way without hitting the island and now two people can walk in any direction around the island. Furthermore, the contractor installed a pot rack directly over the island for further storage. I cook from scratch every day. I need to have a large work space for canning, rolling out dough, assembling ravioli, cutting noodles, etc. I have that now and they installed a new comercial style sink in place of the awkward tiny sink. The overall footprint of my kitchen never changed, just sime minor tweeks and now it all works. If I had realized that I could have fixed years of aggrivation for as little as three thousand dollars I would have done it far, far sooner. It just didn't occur to me that I didn't need to gut the entire kitchen and do an expensive remodel, I could just make some minor, and inexpensive tweeks. I LOVE this kitchen so much that a year later I feel compelled to sing the praises of Pioneer Plumbing. They will not rip you off. They will work within your budget and do the work on time and on budget. They were clean, prompt and pleasant and they had my new kitchen installed in a single day. God bless them all.
