I was having my pressure switch demanding flow constantly. I have been here 31 years and never did anything with my well. Hayes & Sims diagnosed that my pump was beginning to fail and recommended it be replaced. They showed up, pulled my pump, down 120 feet, and found that it was 45 years old. The galvanized pipe to the pump was severely deteriorated and some sections were soft and bent when they uncoupled them. My pressure tank was tested at 15 psi when it should have been up around 45 psi. I had them replace everything. I learned so much about wells from talking with this group. Happy customer. Called about 3:30pm for non-emergency service. They were able to come around 10am the next morning and immediately diagnosed the problem as a failed pressure tank (which had also sprung a leak in addition to its other issues). They had a suitable replacement in stock nearby and despite the tank being in a rather difficult to get to place in a crawlspace, had it and associated components replaced in a couple of hours and we were back in business. Good communication, prompt friendly service.
