After receiving encouragement from several community members, I set aside my preconceptions of yoga practice (maintaining challenging poses for extended periods) and tried a class at Free Range Yoga. It is no exaggeration to say it was one of the best choices I have ever made for myself. Free Range Yoga offers a safe, welcoming, and peaceful environment to practice self-care. As a result, my tension has decreased, and my strength, balance, mobility, and self-care skills have greatly improved. Dawn's classes draw from the roots of yoga and abandon the notion of static postures. Instead, she instructs kind, accessible, beneficial, and safe movements to the individual body, mind, and spirit. Classes comprise various ages and skill levels, including balance work, stretching, breathing practice, and stress reduction. Dawn, Tim, and the studio atmosphere are relaxed, non-judgmental, and fun. Dawn is flexible in her lesson plans by incorporating the individual needs of each student. She is highly observant, knowledgeable, and creative, offering minor adjustments to ensure that every student is safe and kind to their body. Classes are available in the studio or over Zoom, and prices and practices are generous and fair. Dawn's authentic and compassionate nature and Free Range Yoga's business practices show that their motivations are not monetary gain but spreading kindness and well-being in the community. After years of being scared to try yoga again (after a not so fun experience with another instructor), tried again at Yoga & Wine night at the The Wine Sellers. Dawn was so caring and fun, and put us all at ease. I was able to fit right in and nothing seemed to hard to try. I will definitely go back! Thanks Dawn!
Sign up for a class or two. You will not regret it. I took a class Friday and did not realize how much I needed it. I left feeling so much better, my back pain was less and my neck felt great.I purchased a 5 class lunch card that I can take 90 days to use. This works out perfectly with my schedule. Treat yourself this year!If you can’t make a class, Dawn has over 200 videos of classes that you can watch and exercise with from anywhere. It is only $10 a month!!!!!! So less than 2 coffees!!!!
