“True story: It was early Sunday morning and one mission in mind. My goal that day was to find a hidden gem in the suburbs. I live a few minutes south of downtown Chicago, surrounded by bougie hair salons. Then I found Joanne’s Hair Design in Lincoln Ave. I was visiting my parents in Skokie for anybody curious. I am sorry to my previous hair stylist, but I just made the BEST decision! Love the unpretentious environment, talented hair stylist full of spunk/wisdom/kindness/humor! Every person who sees my new haircut was so stunned! Ms. Joanne took her time to perfect my haircut and gave me a few tips on how to handle my dry hair and scalp. It took her more than an hour which went by really fast because I enjoyed being around their team. I came in down and depressed, but came out as a new woman! No wonder her customers are so loyal to her! The whole team deserves an award! I found my forever stylist/s!
