“This review about my favourite place for dogs. From the moment you walk in it does feel like Home!

Facility: State of the Art (very clean, smells nice, little food shop, always decorated for holidays. Drinks are offered. Huge dogs areas with high ceilings and super ventilation, special vacuums to clean after dogs, each sector is supervised by a separate person, separate backyard which is fenced for dogs to play outside, adjacent wooded area where the trainers walk dogs on leash)

Staff: Very friendly and always there to answer all your questions and concerns you might have.

Trainers: Nofo- # 1 professional in training dogs (i call him magician, because dogs listen to him from the first moment they see him) Christa- amazing trainer that is very kind and helpful.

When i got my dog daughter Polina i had to find a place for her to stay during the day. K-9 took her when she was 5 month old and i had a lot of concerns starting from feeding, training etc- as dog parents we would like to bring up a nice, obedient and friendly dog. K-9 family helped me avery step of that journey starting from personal training sessions, aguility classes and i am very thankful for that from the bottom of my heart.

If you have concerns or need a nice, clean, friendly place for your dog K 9 is your best choice! I also forgot to mention that they have Grooming Salon as well. Its ONE STOP SHOP for all your dog's needs!“

“I have been taking my dogs to MAH for over 20 years. They are great. Our rescue pup has needed 2 dentals and has had to have teeth removed and they have done a good job. They provide pain meds, antibiotics and anything else that is needed to help him heal. He does not seem traumatized when he comes home, and he heals quickly. They always call to check on him and making check up appointments is super easy. Always happy with my visits.“

“We are so happy with The Dog Stop in Deerfield! This is only our second day bringing our puppy, Olive, and we couldn’t be happier. The whole team is incredibly friendly and caring — you can tell they truly love what they do.

They’ve been sending us the cutest pictures of Olive playing with her puppy friends, and she looks so happy and comfortable there. Olive is only 5 months old, and they’ve been so gentle and thoughtful with her — keeping her inside with her mini group of puppy friends instead of taking her outside. We really appreciate the extra care and attention they give her at this young age. It’s such a relief knowing she’s in great hands and having fun while we’re away.

“We LOVE this place! Jordan and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure my dog is happy while having fun while in their care. The facility is very clean, the staff truly cares, and it's the only place I am comfortable with having my dog be cared for. Huge bonus to be able to watch my dog run and play on the cameras! The staff does interact with the dogs by walking around with them, petting them and I know she is happy because I've seen her give them kisses too! “We sent our 13 week mini Bernedoodle pup, Luca, for 2 weeks of board and train to Happy Puppy Manor on the recommendation of a friend and couldn’t have been more thrilled with the experience. We chose to drop him off so we could tour the facility and knew immediately we had made the right choice. Every staff member was so welcoming and kind and the facility was spotless and spacious. There was not one doubt my pup was in great hands! We received many check-ins over the 2 weeks from his trainer Tracy (calls, videos, pictures and progress reports) so I always knew what was he doing during his time there. He came home with so many solid new commands and better behaved. ? This was the exact training foundation I wanted for Luca. He’s been home for almost a week and we have easily carried on with the suggestions from Tracy and the difference in Luca continues to evolve.
We are also planning on enrolling him in additional, more advanced training.

“My kids (8 and 10) participated in the 4 day horse camp that was 4 hours each day this summer and they absolutely loved it!

Mrs Nancy is so good with the kids and all the girls helping out were so engaged and friendly! The kids learned all about the horses, such as how to take care of them and grooming. They were leading them around the arena, riding and even did crafts. The second day the kids jumped out of the car and I didn't even get a hug goodbye before they were off and engaged in the game in the arena. I am so grateful they were able to have this experience. All the horses in the camp were absolutely wonderful and perfect for the kids who are still beginners.

“This kennel was great. Friendly staff and nice large outdoor area for dogs to play. But unfortunately the Grayslake facility closed in October. Evidently permanently so. Nobody seems to know why but c'est La vie“
