On a trip passing through Illinois from Butte, Montana I was lucky enough to be able to train one night with NAMA…Elite skill level AND elite level of teaching skills as well . Guru Mark Halek taught the Kali class I attended and I was super impressed !!
This martial arts school has been amazing for my son. He's only just turned seven, but in the last year that he's been attending the youth classes, he's been encouraged to really push himself, to focus, to become an all-around good person, and to meet challenges with energy and perseverance. Plus, it's a great amount of exercise for a young kid. I can very highly recommend NSA!**ETA, both my children have attended NSA now through their curriculum to the level of probationary black belt (daughter) and first degree black belt (son). Tried out the kick boxing class really loved it, instructors were willing to work with me at my pace. Great atmosphere and fun learning environment. They also were really good about the Covid precautions, mask mandates and sanitized equipment. Really felt like they where on top of things here.
