Had a leaky basement anytime it rained. Sump pumps always firing off every 3-5 minutes even weeks after a rainy day. Had big name "foundation repair/waterproofing companies come out and heard 3 separate opinions and solutions, all of which were 5 digits and all were different. The expected fear pitch was presented to me, trying to convince me that my walls were caving in and carbon fiber straps and injecting the cracks would solve all my problems and "doesn't matter whats happening with the water if it doesnt seep in". Suspicious of this band aid expensive repair I decided to call SDC for an unbiased professional opinion.At first, I will admit I was reluctant to pay the cost for the inspection, worried this would be a waste of money and another batch of bad news. I recieved the opposite. Showed up on time to the second, walked my property and basement with me and gave an honest analysis of my situation. Advised not to waste time or money on strapping the basement wall and to address the grading in my yard to actually solve the problem of water pooling against the foundation.After spending less than half what I would have spent on a worthless repair from a "reputable foundation repair company", I'm happy (and sleeping better) saying that my basement is bone dry after days worth of rain.The money spent with SDC saved me $11000 on a repair that would not have worked. Thank you for coming out and assisting in solving a problem that has been a huge burden and weight on our shoulders. Highly highly recommend.

She'll be honest and upfront about options and timing, while also being incredibly compassionate and a great laugh as well. Her pricing is totally reasonable and she has a good selection of products you can pick up. She was a critical part of my 'team' who helped me through a very crappy period.
I always feel so welcome coming into the space and Kari makes me and my hair look/feel like a million bucks! She has done so many different things for my hair with cuts and color. I've always left excited and happy. All the girls are friendly, the space is clean, and they always have the best refreshments ha! Not necessary but a great perk and it is the small things that count. The vibe here is relaxed and not catty like many other salons I've been to. So happy I started coming here!

Needed a last minute early appointment and V Nails was open early. I had never been here before and was pleasantly surprised on how wonderful it was. Not only were they friendly, they listened to what I wanted and their work was impeccable. Not one nail polish on my mani/pedi was out of place. Walked in fir a no-chip french. Was taken right away. Took about an hour. I can say that even though I was hoping for a design and something a little more unique, this was about the cleanest nail salon Ive been in. I really appreciate the care that they took in making sure everything was clean, from the implements they used on me to the counter I was at was extremely clean. Highly recommend this family run business for your traditional no chip manicure. I will try again, with a pedi.

Bina did a lovely job threading and tinting my brows. On top of that, she’s a very sweet lady. I have an eyebrow piercing and she kept asking if I was ok (pain-wise) and she even tried helping me put it back in (bc I was struggling lol).

I’ve been going to Karen for about 2 years now and she is wonderful! She takes her time to make sure your cut is the way you want it and she explains each product she uses and its benefits. She has a wealth of knowledge, not only about hair, but about natural products and practices as well. She cares about her customers and wants to give them the best deals on products. She is also happy to give customers samples of products to try before committing to buying. She also cuts my daughter’s curly mixed hair and does such a great job with her too. Not everyone can cut curly hair well, but Karen does.

I was just passing by the area a year ago and I was looking for someone to do eyebrow threading. I read reviews of her (which are ALL excellent!) and sent her a message here in google maps. She replied within seconds and was able to accommodate me in her busy schedule. I LOVE how she shaped my brows and I knew from that moment that I found the best person to do my brows. Not only is her work the BEST but she is very responsive and accommodating when it comes to scheduling. Overall, Meghavi is THE BEST and highly recommended!

I did a walk-in for a tattoo last week. I had a design that I had sketched out. I was unsure about the size and placement since this was my first tattoo. The artist @evanstattoo spoke to me and helped me figure out what would be the right call. They also helped clean up my design so that it would look good. The actual session lasted around 45 mins. They also gave very detailed instructions on the aftercare. Really happy with how my tattoo turned out. Would definitely recommend the place.

I would recommend Legendary Service to anyone. Sean and Colin were great. Quick response and install times. We needed to replace our furnace and AC, and went with a heat pump. They educated us on different units and compared them. Recommended a Uv light and we also added on a 4” filter which have helped with dust in our home. No BS upfront company and you can tell the employees know what they are doing. Highly recommend them.

I have had some work done over the years by Rein Electric and have been impressed enough to actually write a review. If you are looking for a professional who will be on time, communicate clearly, complete the work exactly as you desire, and provide a level of service rarely found these days, I highly recommend Rein Electric. They were extremely professional and courteous. Prices are reasonable and service is top-notch. I had a problem with a GFI outlet and whoever I talked to on the phone (I believe it was Anthony) gave me several suggestions to try to fix it before having to send someone out. Then it turned out to be a fairly simple fix, it took maybe 10 minutes or so, and I was not charged. And I would have paid as it was my own stupidity.
I also had a somewhat special project, installing a "Smart Panel" for a battery backup system. I believe it is a pretty rare type of project but the electrician, Paul, went above and beyond getting it installed. He had to deal with the battery backup company frequently to troubleshoot the problem (which turned out to be a bad "Smart Panel", so it was the backup battery company's fault).
I would highly recommend Rein Electric to others. They are super responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable!!
I had Scott Nelson Electric come to my home in South Barrington to wire and install two wall sconces and a dimmer switch in my living room. In addition, I had them install a new light fixture in the powder room. They (Ben & John) did a fabulous job at a very reasonable price. They arrived on time, were very professional and courteous. Lightscape is a creative lighting company that set lites so that they are beautiful and provide beautiful light and their lighting systems do not irritate neighbors with bright down lights etc! But what sets companies apart from everyone else is what they do with more difficult problems. A large number of small pool lights were installed at our house 5 years ago; they were found to be weaker than they should be and were broken quickly at there stems. Lightscape recognized the product flaw, and replaced them with a newer , stronger version. For this I am truly grateful.
Mike installed a ceiling fan on a slanted ceiling that someone else was not able to get operating. Lesson learned, get an electrician to do electrical work. Thanks Mike!

We have worked with Optimum Construction for over 10 years. They have worked on two homes for us. 4 bathrooms, two kitchens and a number of overall room rehabs. Most recently a lower level rehab that came out great. We have always found Eric and Jack to be very reliable and solid rehabers. I would recommend them to anyone without reservation. A cabinet door on our 2008 kitchen cabinets failed. The hinges came loose. I called Exquisite. The lady put me in touch with Oscar Sosa their project manager. I took the door over to their office. Oscar looked at it, said he had the hinges that would work to repair it and would come by my house between three and four on Friday.
At 4:30 Oscar game with the hinges we were able to install the door he checked all the other doors and hinges this is real customer service. You can’t go wrong by getting a hold of these folks to get a job done

Dr Attar is my endo that did my tooth extraction. I was told from other dentists and an endo I'd need a root canal. I didn't want that. My gut feeling sent me to Dr Attar thru a referral from my uncle. I mean 10 seconds and didn't feel a thing! I couldn't be happier. I met the team and staff and everyone was so cordial and kind. I am quite thankful I went to Dr Attar than everyone else. Also I appreciated that he had great bedside manner and asked if I had other concerns to treat. I asked him about my gums and I was happy to feel reassured that I was overall healthy.
Dr. Hamman and his staff are wonderful. He is very meticulous in all that he does. His staff, including hygienists and front office, are also very meticulous and friendly indeed.My family will miss him upon his retirement since we’ve been going to his practice for approximately 30 years. Dr. Honey and his team go the extra mile to make appointments that typically cause me anxiety, to be enjoyable. The entire staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. They made sure I was as comfortable as possible during my appointment both physically and emotionally and provided tips to encourage healthy/strong teeth and gums.
Dr. Peyton is so great and accommodating! First of all, she has explored several ways to help with pain and discomfort. I also appreciate how she will educate you on techniques and anatomy before administering care. I always feel better after my adjustments when i leave there. Second, she has been incredibly accommodating of my needs as a new mom. I don’t have childcare yet, but she lets me bring my daughter to our sessions. She goes above and beyond by engaging with my baby. For example, today she finished feeding her and cleaned off a toy that was dropped on the floor because I couldn’t get off the table mid treatment. Amazing level of compassion and support that allows me to seek treatment without childcare.

Dr Brad knows his stuff and super gentle and helpful. They got me right in and In 2 visits 90% of the pain is gone and he gave me stretch’s to do at home. No selling of big packages and needing to go for 12 visits, he treats you and makes you the best you can be. I was feeling pretty rough so I asked to book a 2nd visit. I will make a point to see him to keep things in alignment.

Went here with a close friend. The registration staff were very nice to her and offered her easy registration on her phone. The wait time was rather short and the water dispenser a must have for both of us who drink a lot of water in a day. In the clinic room the clinic staff offered her plenty of time to discuss her issues and make sure every concern was handled. The nurse and the physician were extremely kind in handling a high complexity patient. She elected to have a skin tag removal done which was nearly painless, which hasn't been her prior experiences. My friend and I will definitely be coming back to this office. She told me after I referred her to Derick and after her visit that she understood what I meant when I said "Derick Dermatology is the Rolls Royce of dermatology." Though we learned by experience that Derick looks and runs like a Rolls Royce costs are well in the lower tier of expenditure. To the point it'll be a surprise of how low the prices are. I and her were astounded at how low the cost was.
Alyssa is great. She spends the right amount of time with me on every visit. I never feel rushed, she is thorough and answers all my questions. She keeps her appointments on time which is extremely appreciated as well.

Been going to Dr.Dzien for a few years now, he is BY FAR THE BEST! That’s saying a lot since between my mom and i, we have 6 Shih tzus, have bred 155, plus I’m a dog sitter!
The staff here is professional and knowledgeable. Their compassion always shines through. They are great with my dogs through all phases of their lives...from puppy to geriatric ( where I find myself again). Dr. Setlock and Dr. Herron are really wonderful.

I’m enjoying this studio so much!I heard about this place from a friend when I moved to the area, so I decided to take a class there. I immediately felt welcomed, which was rare from studios I’ve previously visited where I used to live. I also love that Black Cat has kundalini, which is hard to find, and they really do have a variety of yoga classes for everyone. I highly recommend this place because they also have a wonderful 3 week introduction rate to try out the classes. It’s a great way to see what you like.

Lauren was awesome. She listens and does a good job of finding knots I didn’t even know I had. Highly recommend the 80 minute full body massage with her. Relaxing and clean environment as well.
They have some great therapists who always provide high quality services and a nice professional staff. Recently updated space with nice new comfortable oversi tables. And reasonably priced for 1 full hour treatment. I highly recommend trying out Libertyville Massage Therapy.

If you want real answers and results, I suggest you contact Dr. Shepherd. My wife took me to see Dr Shepherd. While he was treating me for a herniated disc he mentioned that my wife looked lethargic and that he could help her. With some coaxing she agreed and he treated her on the spot. She was a completely new woman. Lots of fun and energy. No more epileptic petit mal seizures. She was like a teenager and was now very hard for me to keep up with. That was over 25 years ago.I had been to a number of specialists in the mid 1980's and they prescribed many different drugs to combat my debilitating illness that was caused by a severe electric shock. Those medications made me feel worse.My dentist told me to see this uniquely wonderful physician. Dr. Shepherd's treatment got rid of my excruciating headaches, stopped the seizures and got me off those drugs. I say he saved my life and made me whole.So, to this very day, it is with confidence for me to say that he is my doctor and he will treat you with an abundance of ever expanding knowledge to make you whole and your life better.

I have been going to Dean for a little over a year now. I have end stage arthritis of my wrist. Only cure for the pain is surgery or heavy duty drugs. Also recently developed Covid Asthma. Since I have started treatment with him, the pain in the wrist is now manageable and my breathing is better. He is kind and never minds taking his time to explain how and why he does what he does.
