Very informative and helpful throughout the process, and they don't use that machine that blows air into your eye so that's a huge plus for me. My wife and son will be going here as well when they are due for their next checkup.“

“Best Optometrist in my experience- Dr. Surowiak is an excellent optometrist. Even after I moved away from the area and tried a local optometrist, I came back to Dr. Surowiak despite the drive and distance. He is always available and very courteous. He has the high technology machine which allows a retinal examination without dilating the eyes- definitely a huge plus! The machine also allows the patient to see pictures of the back of their eye (retina) if interested. I definitely recommend Dr. Surowiak - I have been seeing him for almost 10 years. Remember that having a solo practice can be challenging especially when training new staff.“

“My husband and I are in the area of Lake Zurich for a few months. My husband was having difficulties seeing and we made an appointment with Dr. Blechacz. Dr. Blechacz was professional and provided a thorough exam with very updated equipment. He spent much time and my husband did not feel rushed. He helped him pick out the best frame and lens to meet his personal needs. He immediately called us when the glasses came in and scheduled a follow-up exam in a timely manner. During the followup exam, he fitted the glasses and tested him to ensure the Rx was correct. In today's medical field, we often feel rushed and exams are impersonal, which was certainly not the case with Dr. Mike. My husband and I give him 5 stars!!“

Resolved a ongoing headaches issue having to do with past eyewear. Walked me through frames that would help alleviate headaches and eye strain . Had knowledge of the type of lens i should purchase.

Also Dr. was informative and gave great advice on allergies and types of products that are safe for contacts. Learned a few new things that would help dry eyes.“
