“My son Lucas(5 yrs) started attending LZFMA in January and I cannot say enough good things about this place. First-the staff are amazing! So friendly, timely in their responses, the kids love them! You can tell they’re definitely all in the right profession. Second-their facility is organized and clean. They take all the necessary precautions to keep the kids safe and it is obvious they are the top priority. And finally, they made my son feel special. He is very shy by nature and they’ve definitely gotten him to open up and really get a lot out of his classes. All in-if you are looking for an amazing, family-oriented, well-run business for your kid to take some classes, LZFMA is the place to be!PS-their prices include unlimited classes each month. So it’s up to you to get the most out of it!“
“Love the experience the trainers have! Very well taught.. Controlled dojo.. Krav has got easier because of the amazing trainers“
“Cannot say enough nice things about this program. Master Garrison is amazing! My daughter has been in for about a year, she gained confidence, flexibility, balance and I really believed it helped her not need physical therapy any longer. She loves going which is wonderful for a mom to see. I love that she loves an activity so much and learns while doing it, but doesn’t realize that she is learning because she is having fun.So beneficial on so many levels.Thank you Tiger Academy for such a wonderful program!“
“Terrific gym. Top class instruction. Awesome facility. Great for kids and adults. Can’t recommend it enough.“
“Master Chris (Coach Chris) is awesome with kids! Couldn't ask for a better kids' martial arts instructor!“
“Great instruction, skilled instructors, supportive atmosphere. Highly recommended!"“
“We love our karate place. It's been 10+ years we are going there. My older son grow up here and it is absolutely best place to get your kids moving. Sensei Veronica is very dedicated and she knows how to handle even not so easy kids. She is very professional and great in organizing classes, camps and birthday parties. It is not only beneficial, but always fun too.“
“JP Wood Martial Arts is a fantastic place for both kids and adults who want to learn Teakwondo. Both Mr and Mrs Wood are great with the kids and love to joke around, but keep professional. They also teach discipline, integrity and focus. No one wants anyone to fail and the other students jump in the help when needed. We have told many friends/people about them and have made new friends as well. My boys have been here for over a year now and love coming. Higher belts/older age get to use sparring equipment which is a great time to watch. I highly recommend this place for anyone.“
“Coach Kyle is truly one of the best striking coaches in the game. He cares about his students, their families and is a martial artist to the core. He instructs many of his classes and whether you're a fighter or a beginner, he cares about seeing your skill set improve. If you are within a driving distance of striking arts, I would HIGHLY suggest making the drive and checking them out.“
“I was very skeptical about signing up my oldest for TKD because I was worried about how he would listen. This has been, by far, the best investment for him. The masters are engaging, passionate, and attentive to all the needs of the children. I'm so happy we found DKF. Master Adam and Master Sporanza are truly the best! At 4.5 years old I can already notice a huge difference in my sons behaviors and mannerisms at home.“
“My son has been taking classes at Ki for a year now and really enjoys it. The masters have been fantastic at teaching him and he is very motivated to work toward his black belt. We appreciate the flexible schedule as well and there are plenty of class times so we can always find one that fits our schedule. We also just had a birthday party there for my son & Masters Antonio & Jorge were amazing at leading it. The kids had so much fun & it was easy for us as the parents too! Master Jorge was especially good with our 3yo daughter. He helped her one-on-one with the activities nearly the entire time & was so patient & kind with her. She was so happy & loved hanging out with him! We highly recommend Ki for classes & parties too.“
“Master Morris is great with students! He consistently conveys courtesy, respect and professionalism in every interaction while being ecouraging and fun at the same time. I am so glad we found Master Morris as an instructor at Barrington Martial Arts. I can't say enough good things about him !“
“Our kids have been taking taekwondo classes here for many years. We can see the progression and positive impact of taekwondo lessons from year to year. It helps their self discipline, persistence and confidence. Master Lee genuinely cares about the kids and we appreciate that very much. They always have fun during Taekwondo lessons.“
“It’s a wonderful place to learn basic self-defense. The instructors are very welcoming and teach many skills you can use in your daily life. Our class was made up of many different ages, and everyone had a great time!“
“I enrolled my grandson into Core Martial Arts In Libertyville two years ago. The instructors have extreme patience with the little ones and watching the progress that this now 6.5 year old has made is commendable. He comes home with what may seem like little things, like being able to count to ten in Korean or showing us some of his "moves", but they are big things to be proud of in his little world. I can't recommend Justin and Therese enough.“
“This place is the best!Seong Heas Martial Arts Academy has been great for me and my son!“
“Great place for training some real things.Professional trainers and nice people to train with!“
“My son has grown emotionally and physically stronger, along with an increased confidence over this last year. Instructor Lee is not only a good teacher, he's a good role model and has been a wonderful influence with just the right amount of encouragement to inspire my son to try hard, to work hard, and to become the best he can be. TaeKwando has influenced all areas of my sons life, at home, school, with friends and I will always be grateful for that, and proud of my son for his accomplishments in such an honorable skill to learn. Thank you, Instructor Lee!“
“Not sure where this is due to actual passing it some wheremaster it's A stop light Ruther way come on Dragon in the name gotta be good right wink sink!“
“Several years ago in my mid 40s, wanting to start something new, I was looking for a jazz piano lesson, but somehow ended up joining U.S. Matsumoto Shidokan Karate instead. All my family and friends were stunned because I was the least likely person to do exercise or play sports, let alone martial arts. I did not know (and still do not know) what made me change my mind. That irrational decision I made, however, has turned out the best thing I’ve ever done to myself.Training is so intense at our “dojo,” which means a martial art school in Japanese, I always try to find an excuse not to attend the class up until making the last turn into the parking lot there. One hour later after the class, I feel great, invigorated mentally and physically. The positive effect on my mind and body is just unbelievable! Now in my mid 50s, I would like to use my precious time on learning from and getting inspired by something/someone top-notch and essential as much as possible. Shihan (Master) Matsumoto is a first-rate karate master who not only teaches us martial art techniques (of course, his focus in the class is improving each student’s technique and he knows exactly how) but also inspires us to be a better person without saying too much. Shihan Matsumoto, his wife Sensei (Instructor) Etsuko, a great teacher herself who encourages us to be positive all the time, and my fellow students at Matsumoto Shidokan are the people dear to my heart besides my family.Since the beginning of this COVID-19 pandemic, U.S. Matsumoto Shidokan Karate has been providing on-line classes to its students. I really appreciate that and hope to go back to the dojo as soon as the virus is no longer a serious risk. I promise I won’t try to find an excuse not to go anymore!“
“I love it here! Coaches are really really kind. Pedro, the owner, Ariel and Jesus make me feel super welcomed! I just started and they really help me adjust since I’m a beginner. I go to smaller classes and like that I can get that individual attention. They really help fine tune everything! They push you to be your best and I have a new found love for boxing! The conditioning is intense but keeps you really fit. Love it here!!!“
“Love their positive atmosphere and community. They have very friendly staff and teach great lessons to the kids, building important life skills for the future“
“Master Kim takes instructing to the next level. He is the best martial arts teacher my kids have ever had. The other instructors are also teaching at a high level. He teaches courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self control and Indomitable Spirit!“
