I couldn't tell you what I was expecting but the class was everything I could have wanted and more. The instructor, was extremely kind. She offered and demonstrated alternatives for most of the poses. You can tell that she was passionate about her craft. Let me tell you as a first timer highly recommend, there are other kinds of yoga classes taught here that I am looking forward to trying out. Parking is meh around here depending on when is your class (but I don't blame them for this)“

“Thank you Mindful Movement for your Anat Baniel Method session with my daughter. Before sessions, she had trouble walking with her heels down and often held my hand tightly to keep her balance. We left our session with her walking on her whole foot and gently holding my hand, I had never felt that loose of a grip while holding her hand! She is much more aware of her body and able to relax her muscles like never before.“

1510 Old Deerfield Rd, Highland Park“I found Hardcore Pilates while I was recovering from one of many orthopedIc injuries - I've had multiple surgeries on my knees, elbow, and shoulder and Kim and Jessica have always been extremely careful to not aggravate my joints. Instead, we work on healing my body from the core outward. Their knowledge of body mechanics is simply mind-blowing, and they can achieve major pain relief with only the tiniest adjustments to your movement and form. The personal attention you receive ensures the very best, safest and most effective results for your body and overall health. I'm stronger now than I have ever been. My posture has improved by leaps and bounds, I am virtually pain free, and have actually regained an inch of lost height! The instructors are so remarkably kind, caring and committed to their clients' well-being that it is and absolute joy to go to class. Finding Hardcore Pilates was hands-down the best thing I've ever done for my health. I know I'm treating my body to the best anti-aging regimen there is, and having a hell of a lot of fun while doing it!“

I've been here about 15 times via ClassPass and was always treated with kindness and respect. The class size is small (~12?) and the teachers are very motivating. All teachers equally assists students who need help and take the time out to learn your name. The classes are hard. I would first describe it as slow torture, lol. However, it is very effective. The class is 50 mins long and you don't even realize time is passing by. The room is kept dark/dim, the music is loud and the class is very fast-paced (active listening is a must!). I love this type of gym, but I understand it may not be for everyone. They have a lot of classes throughout the day which works well for my flexible work schedule and as a working mom. There is ample parking and the studio is clean. What are you waiting for? Me? I'm still afraid to commit to a monthly plan, but maybe one day.“
