“I usually don't participate in these reviews, but I'm so grateful that I found Peggy and her staff of amazing caregivers. My mom had hip surgery and Wishing Well Home Care was one of the local home care companies recommended in my mom's discharge packet. We met with representatives from about five companies and felt most comfortable with WWHC. We had never been in the market for a caregiver before and didn't even know what questions to ask. Peggy was very patient and a wealth of information during our initial meeting. She really knows her stuff! We met a number of caregivers and found a perfect fit for my mom, who was extremely hesitant about this whole process to begin with. Maggie is compassionate, reliable and feels like one of the family. She lives a couple of miles from my mom's home, so we are happy that she is nearby especially during these Chicago winters. I would highly recommend Wishing Well Home Care without reservation!“

“Home Care has been a key in taking care of our loved one for over 3 years. My family and I are impressed with the sincere effort this company makes to match our loved one with the appropriate CNAs. Prior to The Home Care Resource we used another big named home care company that advertises on TV. With the TV caregiver company, we felt like our loved one was just a cog in their business and that not much attention was made to make a good match. We had no idea how wonderful a caregiver company and caregivers could be. We have 24/7 staffing for our loved one. Throughout the week we have a schedule that rotates between 5 CNAs. “As my father aged his main goal was to remain in his home as long as possible. In order to help satisfy his request we knew it was time for 24/7 in-home help. We reached out to Touching Hearts and met with John. John assured us that they would be partners in the process and that he would find the best possible match for us. I found that to be spot-on If the match did not fit or we had other concerns he would find a suitable replacement. Over the course of 2 years we did request a few changes. John provided an immediate response and a new caregiver was provided. In the time we worked with Touching Hearts we were never left uncovered if one of the caregivers was ill or had a conflict. Communication was quick and the replacement provided. We reached a point where staying in the home was no longer possible but the transition provided by Touching Hearts provided us with the opportunity keep our dad in his house a few more years. John, Jeff and Sharon are extremely approachable and invested in their clients.“

“Having past experience with The Key caring for an elderly parent we called them when I unexpectedly needed some care following surgery. An excellent decision! Nancy and Gail took the time to explain options and respond quickly to what became a changing situation. The home health aides were all pleasant, competent, and respectful. They offered assistance as needed, and made the experience of being dependent less difficult. In particular Sophie went above and beyond to help identify solutions to problems, write up a care plan, and made getting help with bathing and personal care pleasant rather than embarrassing.“

“Im in a mobility devuce...a scooter...and the halleats and doorways were way too nsrrow. I had great difficulty maneuverung around and getting into exam rooms. The layout is very handicap unfriendly and there are no power doors. The ekevator eas also a bit difficult because the shape of the elevator had the long side perpendicular to the entry, so i had to turn into it unstead if just pulling firward. Many disabled folk have diffuculty twisting making backing up a blind maneuver. If i could pull in straight and back up straught, that would be much easier that having to back up while turning.“
