Dr. Mark Benjamin

I had some problems with an unexplained injury to my eye last month which resulted in a moderate loss of vision. They were able to see me right away and Dr. Benjamin spent a great deal of time with me. Without going into a long story, he was able to diagnose and treat my injured eye. He (and I) could only speculate on how the injury happened, but he did tell me what to watch for, what to do to prevent it from happening again and what to do if it DID happen again. He was very friendly to both my husband and myself. The staff and tech people were beyond nice. The only one I didn't interact with was the lady filling the glasses prescriptions.

Last month had an appointment at 130 pm. I arrived a little before 1 since had to pick up children from school at 3. I waited in waiting room until almost 5! Yes I made arrangements to have kids picked up. By the time I had my eye exam, which was poor anyways. After many years of enjoying going here, they sure have changed! The staff is rude, the eye exam could probably been done by a 1st grader! When it was time to pick out my glasses I was told rudely by the staff most of the techs left at 5! It saddens me to have to give this office a one star. "Why", you may ask? Well, I've been going here for many years and have had great rapport with the doctors in the office. The staff know you and you felt like part of a family. I don't know what happened but it seems like the way they run the office changed to a business/client relationship (as opposed to the many years of doctor/patient). All they are interested in is your money! I used to recommend this office to my family members and friends. I have always been in good standing with them.
