Went there with my mom. We were looking for a hairdresser that could communicate with my mom. Her english is decent, but these things are better handled on your native language. The ladies there were fantastic. More than just understand her they tried hard to please her and that made all the difference. And then the one thing that I liked. The price. Very inexpensive. For cut and blower 20. I paid for a mediocre haircut with a racist hairdresser that was borderline rude to my 82 year old mother 70. This place will have our business from now on. It's a drive from Palos Heights but for my mom worth it.
I forgot the lady's name who did my hair. I do red violets and violet Reds which she did not have so she did a dark plum and a red and she was very nervous about doing it cuz she didn't know how it was going to come out. With highlights and I told her not to worry I do this colors all the time. It came out fantastic. Except when she did my roots she forgot to do the crown and part of the back of my head. So I have about 2 in of gray showing on my crown and the back of my head.
I go here every 2 weeks. They won my trust after a different nearby barbershop screwed me up and i came to Magdas to fix that mistake. The ladies are nice and always make you feel welcome. Highly recommended
