I’m old. I have arthritis in both knees, and I have balance problems. I have had PT several times in modified gym-like settings. Those sessions bore no relationship to the reality of my home environment, and in effect those sessions were useless.ActiveFit to the rescue. Jenny came to my home, studied my environment, watched me perform daily living tasks, and then created exercises that I could do in my home to help build up leg strength and flexibility. She created a whole series of exercises that I can do while using my walker. She designed exercises I can do using my lift chair. These are practical, safe exercises I can actually do in my home. I worked with Jenny after getting back surgery and she greatly helped me heal. It was so nice not having to go anywhere and just having her come to my house for our sessions. She was easy to talk to and gave me helpful tips in how to heal that I still use today! It was bittersweet when I didn't need to see her anymore after getting to a point in my healing since she is such a great physical therapist.
