“Love love this place! I met Kiera a few months ago, who introduced me to Ashley to do my hair. I absolutely loved the way Ashley did my hair. I've been having a hard time finding someone who knows how to style my hair. I have to say Ashley did an amazing job?. She didn't only take her time to color and styled my hair, she also gave me a few tips on how to better manage it.My hair has never looked so bright and healthy. I'm definitely coming back.If anyone is looking for a place to color, style or cut their hair, I highly recommend coming here with Kiera and Ashley. “What a nice expense. The whole set up is like visiting a friends apartment. Starting with you being buzzed in by your hair stylist. Each hairstylist has their own little room, hence the name Loft, that you go into. The chairs are deep and cushiony. More what you'd expect to find in a person's home than a salon. Your hair stylist along with doing your hair shampoos you right in this very comfortable room. All of this leads to a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. You feel like you're visiting a friend. My hairstylist, Ariana, was great. Very friendly and personable. I explained what I wanted with my hair, short and low maintenance, and she gave me a super cute and easy to care for cut. The price was around 60$ and for this incredibly warm and friendly experience and great hair cut, worth every penny. I highly recommend.“

“The salon is located in downtown Hinsdale. I personally have never been to this area so it can be confusing and for some reason my phone maps would bring be in the back alley. They have street meter parking available 50 cents every two hours or there is a parking garage and you would just have to walk further. If you drive or walk too fast, you may just pass up the salon, but there is a sign outside on the brick wall “Halo”. When you enter, you have to go up a flight of stairs and walk down it is the second door to the left. You will see another sign shown in my photos that says “halo”. This hallway is the “waiting” area before entry.

The salon is friendly, chic and cozy! Very pleasant atmosphere, especially considering the difficult times we are all facing with the current pandemic. They are doing a outstanding job taking all of the necessary precautions with COVID. As I just mentioned, you wait in that hallway for entry into the salon because a staff member will take your temperature and they provide hand sanitizer. All staff had on mask, there was the clear shield between the cashier and customers, and all customers were sat far apart.

So, this was my first time at a salon. My sister in law has been doing my hair for the last 5 years and before that I would go to a beautician that was in school. My sister in law went on maternity leave. Before I knew she was coming back, I scheduled an appointment for a consultation with Krista. I needed a touch up and was interested in having extensions done. Krista from the moment we met was very nice and welcoming. She told me what she can do for me, the process and how much it would cost. Throughout the whole process she was thoughtful, spent time listening to me and what I wanted and she matched the color of my hair to the extensions. Also, Krista was AMAZING at shampooing my hair. She gave me such a great head massage, I would literally go back for just the massage. Helping Krista was Yasmin who cut my hair. Of course getting extensions you want it to blend with your natural hair, so I was nervous, but Yasmin did a fantastic job. I like the layers she created and she told me how to brush my hair to make my natural part fall on its own.
