It is the final resting place of notable figures, including Al Capone, a notorious American gangster, as well as high-profile priests and bishops. The cemetery is home to over 400 mausoleums, making it the largest of its kind in the state. Visitors can explore the sprawling grounds, which also feature a war memorial. The cemetery is open from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm, with mausoleum visiting hours from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. The office is open Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
